Most authentic tacos in the region! Different level of taste, always fresh, always hot and combinations that are on point. It's a bit hidden, but once you're there you don't want to leave! Pro tip: add the homemade hot sauce, take takis from the shelf and shoot ice-cold jarritos. Best.

Very tasty tacos. Very friendly service. In terms of price for the size, not a little, since you have to eat at least five tacos to be full. Then you are going on with a bottle of almost € 20.

I am Mexican, I confirm these tacos are authentic and made from Mexican raw material. The tortillas are corn tortillas. The taste is unbelievable. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't regret it. There are many options for meat lovers and for vegans as well. The prices are totally fair and the staff are so kind and friendly. The German gentleman at the checkout speaks pretty well Spanish and the lady is from Mexico. Therefore, they can take your order in English Spanish or German :)

Some of the best Mexican food we have had in Europe. Authentic flavours and presentation at a reasonable price. Carnitas with chicharron and fish taco were favourites. Don't miss the Horchata!

The place really has the potential to become my new hangout. For my part, I certainly come here with my business partners and can rely on being looked after in an exemplary manner. Find the restaurant suitable for all occasions, whether with friends, friends or relatives. I think my partner and I have long since had one ordered the entire map up and down. The dish was served particularly quickly.

These tacos were amazing. I'm vegetarian so I had the veggie and the mushroom ones and they were delicious.

Very very delicious and simple food. It is not that expensive. You can get good enough meal for 10 euros with drinks! Must try.

Best tacos in town.

Super tasty, highly recommended. Unfortunately, the portions are rather small, more for a snack in between. The prices are a bit high, therefore only four stars, the food otherwise deserves a full five. Warning: no toilet.

Sensationally sensational, especially the spices that are used are very special and well put together. The service is also very friendly and on the ball. For the price, however, the portions are extremely small. Only for the small hunger.

Delicious mexican food!

Having lived in Mexico I was truly amazed by this place. This is not your average Tex Mex joint! This team tries to recreate authentic mexican flavors in all their complexity! All tacos were made with hand made tortillas and had the right flavours. Even the drinks were authentic. I can fully recommend YepaYepa and their german-mexican team for bringing a piece of Mexico to our doorstep. A real gem! Go for the pastor and camaron Tacos and get some ceviche too! Gracias chicos!

Nice little shop, friendly staff and the only tacos I can recommend in Freiburg. The tacos are always fresh and the components are well coordinated. Also cute are the instructions for eating taco on the wall. Depending on your appetite, you can get a different number of tacos and have recently started eating them outdoors.

This is how I imagine authentic tacos and Mexican cuisine! Very tasty and fresh. The restaurant is ideal for those with small and medium appetites. Three tacos are enough to fill you up. My personal favorite are the tacos with prawns. The dessert will be tried next time too!

We ate beef, chicken and pork taco from here. Found only pork taco somewhat appealing..

At first glance, inconspicuous ... but hard to beat in terms of friendliness and taste! Immediately someone gave us water for the dog ... everything explained perfectly and after we wanted to be surprised REALLY surprised us. We both had 3 "pieces" and all 6 were super delicious! Should we be in the corner again, we'd love to come back! :)

Actually simple dishes, but YepaYepa makes it really awesome. Delicious, different and honestly, very cheap for what you get. The next time we're in Freiburg, we'll definitely go there again.

Excellent little Mexican restaurant. The products are fresh and the seasonings of quality. The meal takes place on common tables and few but excellent place for a meal break.

Well made tacos and good service. They were good to accommodate allergies and preferences. The guacamole was, sadly, not very good.

Very tasty tacos, the fish one was the best, I tried al pastor, birria and the fish. And of course ending the meal with a nice dessert, the corn cake. Perfect meal!

Decent tacos; as a Mexican I can say this are only worthwhile tacos in Freiburg. The location is good as well, and the recently added parklet provides enough space for clients. I just don't like that toppings are predetermined for each type of taco. A recommendation would be to create a salsa/toppings bar, although I understand perhaps this is not possible due to hygiene regulations, or I could also see the Germans wouldn't know what goes well with each type of taco. Another observation is that the tortillas are sometimes so soaked from the taco filling, that they fall apart.

Nice fresh spicy

I had 5 different types of tacos. My favorite being the Birria! The biggest highlight was the tortillas. They are obviously homemade and traditional. It’s nice to know they have Mexican people working there too. I spoke with Soraya (not sure if that’s how you spell it??) she seemed to know a lot and was very kind!

Nice little place with great tacos!

Super delicious food! Unique in Freiburg. Fresh ingredients, skilful seasoning and cooking let the food melt deliciously in your mouth. It's just a shame that the seating is outside on the street with little space and a little noise.

I really find this place amazing. They have a lot of options for tacos, and not the tipical onces you use to find in other places in Germany. The tacos are well served, the price is worth it, because it is not high compared to others cities in Germany. They offer a variety of desserts, we tried the corn cake and I liked it. I would for sure come back when I am in Freiburg again. The only think I didn't like was that I saw the cooker putting water on the cheese for the nachos, and I don't know how many times she did it :/.

Way too spicy. Everything was Spicy. As family with latin american roots, we must say that Spicy doesn't represent the Latin american cuisine. This is definitely not the right image

To be honest I don't know why people like this place. I was so excited to try YepaYepa having heard a lot about it and seeing great reviews online but it was a huge disappointment. The tacos were super soggy and the taste was nothing great. Their drinks are pretty good though. The prices are reasonable but I wouldn't recommend it other than trying once.

Would've given 6 stars if I could. Great food, and even though it was busy we got our order fast. Last but not least, the staff was very friendly.

The tacos were delicious. My favorites were the ones with shrimps? I got 2 more. My girlfriend had the other type of fish (there are only 2 with fish) and it tasted very good too. I personally think that fish is the best. Strong taste like an explosion in the mouth. It is not cheap but good value for money. You need 4 for a meal and if they are not enough, get more! * Good Appetite!

Without a doubt the best Mexican food place in Freiburg. It's tiny and just like a proper Mexican taqueria you can eat your tacos standing (there's also sitting, both inside and out). I went there twice over the course of a week and tried pretty much everything on the menu. Of particular note are the Pastor and Carnitas tacos, superb! The ceviche tostada and the tamales (we had chicken) were also very good and, more importantly, truly Mexican in style and taste. The tacos are very well served and don't need anything besides what Yepa Yepa tops them with. Word of advice: try to get there earlier rather than later because they can run out of certain types of fillings (my kids had the last Carne Asada tacos both times we were there and we were lucky to get the last three tamales the second time around).
